Dans ma pratique, l’atmosphère agit comme structure récurrente. Par le choix des
couleurs j’évoque un climat, une sensation, une émotion. J’opte pour un minimum
d’éléments dans la composition et cela s’inscrit dans une recherche esthétique proche
du minimalisme.
Je travaille de manière instinctive et intuitive, en dehors de toute conformité artistique.
Au fil des jours et de mes promenades mon regard capte des fragments du réel, forme,
lignes, couleurs saturées. À l’atelier ces perceptions surgissent sans logique
apparente: elles deviennent ainsi des déclencheurs d’une nouvelle représentation du
territoire.
Dans ma pratique les lieux imaginaires se superposent aux lieux réels. Le
paysage cesse d’être décor pour devenir un espace mental. De cette rencontre naît
une atmosphère d’immobilité, de silence et de mystère où l’Être marche vers un
ailleurs, à la recherche de ce qui lui échappe encore.
Il m’est essentiel que mes tableaux projettent une certaine dualité, qu’ils soient
énigmatiques, ouverts à plusieurs lectures.
Il m’arrive aussi de récupérer certaines de mes oeuvres antérieures.
J’en conserve quelques parties et ensuite je recouvre entièrement la toile de nouvelles teintes pour
créer un nouvel univers. Ces petits espaces préservés deviennent ainsi des fragments
du passé qui valident le présent. La transformation devient alors un dialogue avec soi-même à différents moment de la vie.
Je ne travaille pas en fonction des courants artistiques du moment. Mon propos
répond avant tout à une nécessité intérieure indépendamment des modes.
En fait, à travers ces paysages, ces atmosphères, ces fragments réinventés…j’entame
la conversation avec vous en vous parlant de moi.

In my practice, atmosphere functions as recurring structural element Through my
choice of colors, I evoke a climate, a sensation, an emotion. I choose a minimum of
elements in the composition, and this is part of an aesthetic research close to
minimalism.
I work in an instinctive and intuitive way, outside any form of artistic conformity.
As days go by and throughout my walks, my gaze captures fragments of reality, shapes,
lines, saturated colors. In the studio, these perceptions emerge without any apparent
logic; they become triggers for a new representation of the territory. In my practice,
imaginary places overlap with real ones. The landscape ceases to be a backdrop and
becomes a mental space. From this encounter arises an atmosphere of stillness,
silence, and mystery where the Human figure walks toward an elsewhere, as if moving
in search of what still eludes them.
It is essential for me that my paintings convey a certain duality, that they remain
enigmatic and open to multiple interpretations.
I also sometimes reclaim some of my past works. I preserve certain parts of them and
then completely cover the canvas with new tones to create a new universe. These
small preserved areas become fragments of the past that validate the present. The
transformation them becomes a dialogue with oneself at different moments in life.
I do not work according to current artistic trends. My intention responds above all to an
inner necessity, independent of fashions. In fact, through these landscapes, these
atmospheres, these reinvented fragments… I begin the conversation with you by
speaking about myself.
